Each session included pH-balancing prep spray, custom tanning solution, and drying powder all in the comfort of your own space. You prep yourself, and we will bring everything else!

Pre and Post Tan Instructions

Avoid sunburning skin! You will need to wait at least 4 weeks after skin has finished peeling and healing before a sunless tan.

First things first… Start hydrating skin well before your appointment, from the inside and outside–drink lots of water and put lotion on your skin. The better your skin is hydrated, the better it takes sunless tanning solution.

48 hours before your appointment

Complete all waxing, massage, and/or nail appointments. (This will ensure that all products have time to clear off skin.)

12-24 hours before your appointment

Shower, exfoliate, and shave
If washing your hair, make sure to exfoliate after fully rinsing shampoo and conditioner

2-4 hours before your appointment

Make sure skin is clean, dry, and free of all make-up, lotion, and deodorant

Immediately after appointment

Wear dark, loose clothing with as much coverage as possible (you want to avoid skin-to-skin contact as much as possible)
Bronzer in solution may transfer to clothing but should wash out
Avoiding sweating, swimming, and showering while tan is processing; avoid getting skin wet

After processing time

Rinse skin in a lukewarm shower with ONLY WATER
Using hands, rub in a circular motion to help remove the bronzer from skin
Rinse until water runs clear
Pat dry with towel–do not rub

After 24 hours

Wash skin with approved soap, avoiding mineral oil (aveeno, native, and cetaphil are all good options)
Use moisturizer and drink plenty of water

More tips

Take short, lukewarm showers and moisturize daily (stay away from highly fragranced products and those containing mineral oil
Avoid spray sunscreen and bug spray
Chlorine, salt water, saunas, and excessive sweating can strip your tan faster
